The Impact of Stigma on Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Older Adults

The purpose of this live, knowledge-based, geriatric training series is to provide health care teams with adequate knowledge and/or skills to appropriately manage common geriatric conditions and syndromes in older Veterans. A portion of these webinars will focus on the quality of care of older Veterans in Community Living Centers (CLCs) and the other webinars will focus on the care of older Veterans in Primary Care. This training is appropriate for health care teams. This month’s installment focuses on reviewing pertinent elements of the cognitive assessment and current available treatments for cognitive impairment. This is appropriate for health care professionals in all care areas.
