As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to an end this week it is important that folks
recognize that our overall psychological well-being is important throughout the year.
The way you feel about yourself, the quality of your relationships, and your ability to
manage your feelings and deal with stressors is a predictor of whether or not you are
mentally healthy. There are strategies you can engage in on a regular basis to elevate
your mood, become more resilient, and enjoy life! If you notice a decline in these areas
in yourself or someone important to you over period of time it may be helpful to talk with
a mental health professional to learn more about resources and strategies to prevent
any long-term impact.
