Benefits of Therapy


Therapy teaches the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions. It helps clients to identify and change unhelpful thought patterns (negative self-talk). Clients learn to use coping skills to better manage their emotions, improve problem solving, and more effectively address challenges. Therapy can help improve communication and help disrupt unhealthy patterns in relationships. Clients learn to more functionally view themselves, which improves self-esteem.
