Just last week PSIMED's Director of Clinical Services, Merideth Smith, Ph.D., CCHP was asked to present at the NCCHC Conference. NCCHC is the National Commission on Correctional Health Care. Dr. Smith presented "I hope this works:" A Behavioral Health Unit and a Lesson in Outcomes Research.

It's a nice feeling when you work for a company that has employees doing big things. I've worked for PSIMED for twelve years and during that time I have watched so many of my fellow employees grow professionally. Watching this not only makes me proud to be a part of the PSIMED team, but it also inspires me to grow professionally as well.
It's easy to get stuck in a rut and feel uninspired at work, so surrounding yourself with people who are motivated, dedicated and determined to make a difference is really important. I really appreciate every team member at PSIMED who pushes me to continue working hard. The feeling of hard work paying off really is a great feeling and that's hard to feel if you aren't staying motivated and inspired.
