Telehealth

COVID-19 is changing the way all of us are going about our day-to-day lives. Whether it is finding ways to maintain contact with our friends and family while observing social distancing, teaching our children from home so they do not fall behind on their schoolwork, eating meals at home as opposed to eating in a restaurant, or wearing face masks when we go out into public areas, it is hard to argue that life is “business as usual”. One other change we are all experiencing is how we go about receiving healthcare services while also slowing the spread of the coronavirus.

To help protect our patients and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic, PSIMED in Charleston and Morgantown, WV and LiNKS Treatment & Counseling Center in St. Albans, WV have transitioned to offering telehealth services for psychiatric and behavioral health care. Telehealth allows you to meet with your provider through either a secure video conferencing platform or over the phone, both from the comfort of your own home. This is great news as it not only allows you to receive the services you need, it does so while keeping everyone safe. We are able to offer telehealth services to both our existing patients as well as to new patients wishing to establish care.

To schedule an appointment, contact one of our offices and a knowledgeable and friendly staff member will walk you through the simple and straightforward steps needed to get started. We look forward to helping you with your psychiatric and behavioral health care needs.
